Life was a rollercoaster with my dad. He had his good days and his bad. As a teenager, I realized he suffered from a guilty conscience because of my mother’s death. I would get home from school, and he wouldn’t be there. I didn’t know where he was on such days until our neighbor told me she had seen him at the cemetery one afternoon. He would sit at my mother’s grave and grieve.
